Former restroom becomes newsroom

Trinity Western University's student newspaper, Mars' Hill, (named after the place where Greeks and Romans waxed eloquent in past centuries), is a biweekly for a student population of approximately 4,000. The newsroom is located in a former dorm and the staff was appalled to find out their space held the toilets, showers and washbasins in the old days. How would I know? It was my dorm decades ago. It is so exciting to find someone that has been here in Ethiopia. Thanks Audrey.
Well, I went to St, Joseph's and I am currently working for an English newspaper as a senior editor and online editor too.

I am glad to have met you here.

Hello one and all. When I think of a newsroom, I think of the small community paper where I worked at my first job. We sat at old wooden desks each about four feet apart where we could toss papers without getting up and chat and listen in on everything is we typed and conducted phone interviews. It was open space and we shared a lot! Now, the technology's fancier and the desks are sleeker, but I believe the best newsrooms are still the same - keep within eye and earshot for best production!

Hey! Thanks for registering. We're officially going live next week with this.

That said, I have 2 favors to ask. I'd love for you to start blogging about your newsroom there. You should have your own blog as part of your "my page." Anything about changes, new media, new initiatives, etc.

Also, you can create a "group" for you newsroom. Click the newsroom tab up top. It's fairly easy.

And thanks for all your help!
