My thoughts on this topic prior to this panel: http://blogs.cisco.com/news/comments/blogs_versus_the_news_rough_first_draft_of_history/

In essence, while many want to have the "save journalism" versus "save newspapers" debate I think it does come down to business models. Lean and online and delivered to multiple mobile platforms (likely not mobile papyrus) is where I see future.
