I teach Web Journalism and Magazine Journalism at Palo Alto High School, which has one of the largest (and most decorated) scholastic journalism programs in the country. One quick thought, if you're thinking broadly about space, there could many interesting opportunities to create space for start-up bloggers, independent media in the area to come as a kind of co-work space to share ideas, lessons, and experiment with your students.
