Excitement building

We are three days out from our redesigned/reformatted paper hitting the streets.

A lot of people here are running on adrenaline and caffeine. I think we all got a good surge this morning when we were finally able to hold some test papers in our hands -- fresh off the new press.

Still a lot of work to be done to be ready for Sunday night, when we print the first real paper.

As I believe that I told your group, those were incredibly valuable to us (even though the two-a-days were challenging). Being able to use the templates, style sheets, etc. and get used to the new size was helpful to the designers/copy editors. And it was a great way to give instant feedback/coaching before Day One.
